Greetings!

I'm Mr. Cushing. I teach 19th century American History on the 8th grade Capitol Peak team. I started my teaching career twenty-seven years ago at West Jeff, and I have been a Colt ever since. I am a graduate of Colorado State University and Lesley College. I hold undergraduate degrees in history and political science, and a masters degree in educational technology. When I'm not busy reading, cooking, cycling, or watching a London Arsenal match, Colorado Rockies game, or Star Trek episode, I like to spend time with my wife, my family and my friends. I am also proud to be a fifth generation Coloradan, and a fourth generation teacher!
