Quiz Retake & Make-Up Information

  • Quiz make-ups and retakes are optional.

  • Make-ups and retakes OPEN on the same day that the class does the self-reflection for each quiz.

  • Make-ups & retakes CLOSE on the day that we take our next unit quiz.   Don't procrastinate!

  • Make-ups and retakes can be completed any time, 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

  • Make-ups and retakes must be completed outside of history class... at home, in study hall, etc.

  • There is no time limit on a make-ups, or retakes, HOWEVER they must be completed in one sitting.
They cannot be saved, and completed later at multiple times.

  • The maximum grade on a RETAKE is 90% (A-).

  • Students are allowed to retake a quiz one time, so you need to plan for the retake. Make sure you set aside the time. Make sure you gather the necessary notes before you start.  Make sure that your computer is power-up. Having to leave, running out of time, or failing technology will NOT be grounds for a second retake.

You have one shot at it!  Be ready!
